A pyrolysis reactor shall work in high temperature for long time. Common materials are boiler steel, alloy steel, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 310s.

Different materials of pyrolysis reactors have its own advantages:

  • The 310s pyrolysis reactor is the most expensive, which is always used for corrosion raw materials, ultra high temperature work temperature: 900 to 1100 degree Celsius, or lab research. For example of oil sludge in oil field, asphalt, and so on
  • The stainless steel pyrolysis reactor is able to meet common work environment. The max work temperature could reach 750 degree Celsius, and it is able to handle with light corrosion materials.
  • The alloy steel pyrolysis reactor is able to meet high temperature work environment. The max work temperature could reach 550 degrees Celsius. That is suitable for treatment of oil-based drilling cuttings
  • Boiler steel pyrolysis reactor is widely used for used tires pyrolysis, to collect fuel oil from rubbers thermal cracking process. The max work temperature is 450 degree Celsius.
